We want to be direct about where we draw the line, because it matters for your academic record and reputation, not just ours.

• We edit and improve your writing. We do not write your research for you. The ideas, data, analysis, and conclusions in any manuscript we work on are, and must remain, the author's own.
• We never guarantee acceptance in any journal, indexed database, or conference. Publication decisions belong solely to each journal's independent editors and reviewers.
• We do not offer or imply "connections" that influence peer review outcomes. Any service claiming this is one to be skeptical of, including elsewhere in the industry.
• We screen against predatory publishing practices before recommending any journal, to protect the integrity and future citability of your work.
• Authorship stays with the actual researchers. We do not add names to manuscripts, broker co-authorship, or facilitate any practice inconsistent with COPE's authorship guidelines.

If a request falls outside these boundaries, we'll say so directly rather than take the work.
